Bath & Body Works

Hello mammoths!

I don't know if i mentioned it, bud I got lots of unexpected Christmas presents from my awesome host family. I thought my Christmas will be sad this year, being so far from my family and friends and honestly, Czech and Canadian Christmas just don't feel the same, but they tried hard to make me feel comfortable.

One of those really good presents I got from them was a box full of Bath & Body Works products. I've never heard of it, I don't think we have it in the CR (correct me if I'm wrong) so I did a little research. And I thought it would be a good idea to make a little review as well.

Bath & Body works is an American brand specializing on bath and shower products, lotions and perfumes. It's also kind of a "sister brand" to Victoria's Secret.

From what I found about it, their products don't really "do" anything apart from smelling nice, but that's a problem they share with most of the brands selling bath stuff (for me personally, Lush is exactly the same).
They have lots and lots of "signature collections" containing body lotions, shower gels, perfumes, "fragrance mists" (later about that) and other stuff smelling the same.

Their products seem to be fairly cheap, they come in bigger and smaller ("travel size") versions and they often do some "3+2" or similar events, so it's easy to get more products from one collection. Thats why I got so many.

About those fragrance mists. I heard their perfumes are quite strong, so they offer these lighter and short lasting alternatives. I don't know if it's the same thing, but they kinda remind me of those bottles I used to buy in H&M in summertime, simply for refreshing myself in a long summer day. If it is the same stuff, believe me, those things are priceless.

I got 2 small and one big body lotions, one shower gel and 3 fragrance mists.
5 different scents.

From what I have, Pink Chiffon is probably my favorite. I got a fragrance mist and a body lotion from this series and I love the smell. It's a sweet, fruity and floral at the same time and very girly scent, just the type I love. Good for me with my kawaii obsession. Ideal "refresher" for summer days.

I didn't like Dark kiss when I first smelled it, my first reaction about the fragrance mist was "ew, cheap". But the "cheap" smell is soon gone and a nice, dark, mystic berry smell is what lasts. It's said to be a "sexy" fragrance, but it's a bit too sweet to be sexy in my opinion. But still, it's a nice scent for the nighttime. I have a shower gel and a fragrance mist from this series.

Then I got the Sparkling blackberry woods full-size body lotion. It goes well with the Dark kiss series, so I  usually use all 3 products together. I don't have much to say about this one, it just smells like blackberry.

Then I have a Cashmere glow fragrance mist, It's a very warm and mature scent with vanilla and peach and surprisingly cashmere (I have no idea how cashmere smells though, haha). It's maybe a bit too mature for me. I do like it, but I can't imagine myself using it.

I don't particularly like the Sweet pea smell. I got the body lotion and I don't know what to think about it. It's also a fruty.floral scent, but less sweet and more fresh, yet something seems wrong about it to me. It's probably something my grandma would use if she was alive.

All in all, I do like Bath and Body Works and I'm thinking about visiting their store and getting some more stuff before I leave Canada. They seem to have big sales right now.
Also, I don't know how useful and objective this review was. I'm not really used to review scents O.o But still, I hope you enjoyed it!
